I was cited for speeding and lost the ticket and didn’t go to court. My drivers license is suspended and I have a warrant for my arrest. What can I do?

Your driving privilege has been suspended by the Department of Motor Vehicles because they were notified by the court when you failed to appear at your required court hearing. The best way to resolve this problem is to retain a criminal defense law firm who can go to court for you and “resolve” the matter. In most cases you do not have to appear if the lawyer appears for you. As soon as the case is resolved then the DMV will be notified and you will be able to reinstate your license to drive. Of course if you drive with a suspended license and are stopped by the police then you will facing a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license. You definitely do not want that to happen.
